2016 WIFTA Board of Directors Nominee Form

WIFTA Board of Directors (BOD) members collectively decide on organizational strategy & planning, while also having the opportunity to interact with general members on committees related to the coordination of specific WIFTA programs & events.  In May, the current WIFTA BOD will be electing new interim Board of Directors Members. To be considered for a WIFTA BOD position, you must meet the requirements below AND you must complete the form on this page. Nominate yourself or a colleague!


Among the skills we seek:

■ ■ Marketing skills

■ ■ Fundraising ability

■ ■ Industry expertise and experience

■ ■ Long-range planning skills

■ ■ Good communication skills

■ ■ The ability to lead

■ ■ The ability to govern

Expectations: In addition to fulfilling all of the requirements noted in a given job description, WIFTA BOD members are expected to participate in monthly board meetings and other WIFTA activities, such as monthly programs and special events. NOTE: WIFTA BOD meetings are currently scheduled for every 2nd Thursday of the month from 7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m.  Please be sure that you can commit to reserving this time for WIFTA before applying.

Nominees must: 
  • be a WIFTA member in good standing at the time of nomination (active membership);
  • have a strong work ethic;
  • desire to increase the organization’s profile; and
  • possess the skills to assist with facilitating WIFTA's future growth
